Food ideas that help to loose weight

Leafy green vegetables:
Leafy greens include kale, spinach, collards. They have many properties that make them ideal for a weight loss diet, such as being less in calories and carbs and stuffed with fiber.

Eating leafy greens is a fabulous way to enhance the volume of your meals, without doubling the calories. Various studies show that meals and foods with low starch density make people eat fewer calories overall. They are also amazingly nutritious and quite high in vitamins, antioxidants and minerals, including calcium, which has been shown to boost fat burning in some studies.

Boiled potatoes:
Potatoes have many properties that make them a whole food — both for weight loss and optimal wellness. They contain an amazingly distinct variety of nutrients — a little bit of nearly everything you need. There have even been stories of people living on nothing but potatoes solely for extended periods.

They're particularly rich in potassium, a nutrient that plays an essential part in blood pressure control. There is a scale called the Satiety Index, which ranks how diverse filling foods are, white, boiled potatoes scored the highest of all the foods tested.

Soups:
Grains and diets with low starch density tend to make people eat any calories. Most meals with a low energy density are those that contain lots of liquid, such as vegetables and fruits.

But you can also add liquid to your food, making a soup. Some studies have shown that eating the same food turned into a soup rather than as solid food, makes people feel more satiated and eat significantly fewer calories. Just make sure not to add too much fat to your soup, such as cream or coconut milk, as this can substantially increase its calorie content.

Fruit:
Health specialists accept that fruit is healthy. Diverse population studies have shown that people who consume the most fruit (and greens) manage to be health fuller than people who don't. Of course, correlation does not equivalent causation, so these studies don't prove anything. However, fruits do have qualities that make them weight-loss-friendly.

Even though they include natural sugar, they have a low energy density and take a while to bite. Plus, their fiber content helps limit sugar from being discharged too quickly into your bloodstream.

The only people who may want to avoid or decrease fruit are those on a very low-carb, ketogenic diet or have an intolerance.

For most fruits can be a useful and delightful addition to a weight loss diet.

Yogurt:
Yogurt is another best dairy food. Some types of yogurt contain probiotic bacteria that can enhance the function of your gut. Having a strong stomach may help guard against infection and leptin resistance, which is one of the main hormonal drivers of obesity.

Also, consider picking a full-fat yogurt. Researches show that full-fat dairy — but not low-fat — is correlated with a lessened risk of obesity and type 2 diabetes over a period. Low-fat yogurt is generally loaded with sugar, so it's most beneficial to avoid it.
